Ruby even left a little something for Courtney!
Now that we finally have son, (Jonah), Brad is in Dad Heaven!
Oh, he still fawns over his daughters but now that he has Jonah it's like his parenting agenda has been completed. They are the proverbial "two peas in a pod" and it's amazing how similar they are in looks and mannerisms.
It's become an early morning ritual for the two of them to head out for a pre-dawn jog. The girls don't want to go so they don't feel left out which I think is for the best - Brad cherishes the time he and Jonah have to hang out as father and son and not have the girls tagging along.
And with a bit of a break between having kids I was able to get back to work!
It had been so long since I'd been on the job, (as a Conceptual Artist), my first day back found me running late and having to make a dash for it to catch a ride with Brad in the helicopter.
Guess I really liked that helicopter ride
cause now my Simself is rolling a steady want to buy one.
Very sweet to come home that day with a promotion.
I'm now at the top of the Artist biz as a "Visionary".
The pay is excellent!!
Hopefully with the kids getting older I'll be able to devote more time to my job.
Brad and I are both rolling wants to have 10 Kids but with Brianna so close to graduating college and Sheyenne in college too, well, that might not happen.
Comes a time when a married couple needs to settle down and enjoy life without having to stay up all night with noo-boos or chase toddlers.

Besides, won't be long before Brianna and Sheyenne are married and having kids of their own.
And speaking of kids getting older, next thing we knew it was time for Courtney to teen up. She was super excited about it, from the moment she poofed into a kid she wanted to be a teenager!
Brianna and Sheyenne showed up for the big event and of course they brought along their boyfriends, Silas and Harley.
After the most recent drama that happened between Brianna and Sheyenne, everyone was on their best behavior. Even Brad was able to look the other way and not pop a blood vessel every time Sheyenne and Harley stole a kiss or flirted with one another.
It was Courtney that couldn't take her eyes off Harley -
oh yes, she still has a mighty big crush on him!
And Journey wouldn't give Brianna and Silas
a single moment alone on the couch.
(I think Brad sent her over there to sit with them).
Silas wasn't bothered by Journey sitting with them
but it was rather obvious that Brianna was wishing her
little sister would go find something else to do.
It didn't matter much though -
the time for Courtney to get in front of her birthday cake was at hand!

Courtney teened up into a pretty young woman just like her sisters!
The party didn't last long, which was a bit of a disappointment for Courtney.
But the college kids had finals coming up and they really needed to get back and get some study time in.
Courtney was really sad to see Harley go and Brad couldn't hustle them all out the door quick enough.
First thing Courtney wanted to do was make herself over!
The blue hair ribbon was the first thing to go and then of course she couldn't get the make up on quick enough.
Her new look is very pretty!
Can't say her father was that pleased to see the change in Courtney but he kept any negative comments he might have to himself.
I think this last episode with Sheyenne opened his eyes a bit. It's just best to let the kids find their own way but always be on alert if they end up needing daddy to step in. So far the girls have shown sound judgement, even though Sheyenne's plans seem a bit unrealistic and rooted in a storybook romance at least she's committed to getting her college education and so far, pulling all A's.

And the same goes for Courtney, she's an honor roll Knowledge Sim and as much as she loves all the frills that come with being a teenager she has definite plans to go to college and enter the field of medicine.
Good for her!!
She's a total fitness nut too!
And she definitely LOVES the boys!
After teening up her huge crush on Harley seemed to fade some, (thank goodness), but that was only because she began noticing all the cool boys in school and around the hood!
A lot smarter about than Sheyenne was, Courtney likes to flirt around with the boys but isn't too interested in going as far as Sheyenne did with Harley, (making out on the living room couch). She likes to bring them home from school but always sends them on their way.
For instance, it was a really good thing that Brad was at work when Courtney brought this young man home with her.
His name is Flick Orbitz
And yeah, his father is Flagg Orbitz,
the married alien that had a son with Steele's sister, Audrah.
Flick is a bit older than Courtney and as a matter of fact, Hunter's daughter, Helen, is crazy about him and they've snuck out a few times together. Not the best choice in boys for Courtney to bring home as Flick LOVES the girls and has a lot of them chasing after him. He's a good kid, an A student, but he's already breaking hearts and that's the last thing Courtney needs.
At least she's not one to rush into anything and by the time she might get the urge to jump into something with Flick he'll already be off in college, with Helen, So I guess he'll end up being the teen boy that Hunter will have to worry about.
In the meantime, it didn't stop THIS from happening.
Courtney was real lucky that she didn't have a little tattle-tale sister around to run and tell daddy about what she did with Flick, (like she did when Sheyenne was making out with Harley).
But someone DID see them and that was me!
I'd come home early from work that day and spotted Courtney kissing Flick while I was out in the garden.
I wasn't about to tell Brad, but I did haul Courtney into the garden and put her to work while a gave her a little lecture about how girls shouldn't be kissing on boys they don't know that well.
Now if she was actually listening to me, I have NO idea!
The reason I came home from work early that is because I wasn't feeling very well. From the first wave of nausea, I KNEW.
Yep, Brad and I were expecting....again!
Of course Brad and I were thrilled!
Another baby just gets us closer to those 10 kids we want to have.
When the day came everyone jumped into place!
We all know the drill very well by now!

Yep, it's ANOTHER noo-boo!
And it's ANOTHER girl!
I guess Brad and I are just meant to have daughters!
Journey and Jonah were thrilled
to have another set of twins in the house!

When the time came for our new set of twins to toddler up -
Courtney was the one to get the honors.
WHEEEE!
Kendra was the first to toddler up.
She popped up quite the little baldy!
So she got a little make-over and some hair.
And then it was Kirsten's turn!
Yep, we have a house full of girls which is usual for this particular Simski lot -
it's been more females than males from day ONE!!
Brad doesn't mind getting twin girls, he has Jonah and since the twins were born they've become even more close.
A lot will be happening in the days to come.
Brianna will be graduating college, Courtney will be preparing for college and hopefully Sheyenne will continue doing as well as she is in college.
We have seven kids now and really want to have ten -
will we go for it and maybe get another little brother for the girls?
Hard to say -
I'm gearing all of us towards no more kids as OUR kids will be having kids and I'd like to think we could slow down and enjoy being grandparents. What I have planned for us and what we Sims want can be two TOTALLY different things!
