Especially since Sims seem to go from age 35 to 65 overnight, it's best I have something prepared for when that happens.
I don't want us just hanging out, collecting dust and waiting for Grimmy to come get us - old age isn't quite that simple. For some it can be a major uphill battle against health and money issues, but for others it can be quite nice filled with travel, free time to spend with family and friends and being able to live in some pretty nice retirement communities that cater to the aged.
I decided to create a retirement "home" (if you will), that has all the frills and "goodies" that a Sim elder would enjoy in the Golden Years.
I call it the Sugar Pine Homestead, named after the serene and majestic pine trees that surround it.
