As you saw in the previous update in regard to Melanie's lot, Tabitha Ngai and fellow college room-mate, Liam Sherwood, fell in love with one another while attending Tabitha's little twin brother's birthday celebration. Although finding a boyfriend was never at the top of Tabitha's list, (she's a Knowledge Sim), it just goes to show we never know what Love's arrow will take aim and pierce our unsuspecting heart!
Tabitha's main goal when she went to college was to ace those grades and make herself a spot on the Dean's List. The last thing she ever expected was the meet the young man of her dreams, but she sure did!
Liam arrived to college just as naive and full of drive to graduate with honors as Tabitha did. Having a girlfriend was low on his list of priorities too.
In case you don't know, Liam is Dominic Simski's cousin.
Liam's mother, Monet, is Dominic's dad, Darren's sister. Both Monet and Darren lived and worked on one of the vacation islands for many years. It was when Darren met Nicole he decided to leave the island living behind and make a life for himself in Pleasantview, (he and Dominic are very close).
Liam's father passed away a few years back, (an unfortunate pearl diving mishap), leaving Monet alone to raise her young son. With her brother, Darren no longer on the island, (and their parents also passed away), it was an emotional struggle for both mother and son.
After coming out to visit Darren in Pleasantview, Monet decided it was time to get off the island, (too many painful memories), and she sold just about everything they owned and moved. Dominic had just graduated college at this time and had purchased a big new house, (with the money he inherited from Ruby). It was Darren's suggestion that maybe Monet and Liam could live there as room-mates with him, (the house is huge), and to everyone's surprise, Dominic agreed to it.
So, his aunt and cousin moved in and it turned out to be a good mix -
everyone got along great!

Liam was a teenager, (almost finished with high school), when he and his mom moved in with Dominic. And if Dominic looks a little different to you, well,..he went out and got himself some plastic surgery. His dad, Darren, tried to talk him about of it but Dominic was determined to do something about his rather large nose. As it turned out, the nose job he got was excellent and it did a lot for his self esteem, which in turn made a HUGE difference in his outlook on life, (not so angry and grim).
As a matter of fact, Dominic is doing so well and feeling so much better about life that he and his mother, Nicole, are back on speaking terms, (which is going quite well too!)
It didn't take long for Dominic to reach the top of the Gamer biz!!
Things are going very good for Dominic now -
compared to how difficult it was for him in college.

Liam and Dominic get along super well.
I think they needed to be in each other's lives, especially for Liam. The loss of his dad was very difficult for him and having Dominic in his life gives him some male bonding that he needed.
As you can see, they feel free to talk about ANYTHING!!
Liam's stint in high school was very short.
Dominic and Monet were quite sad to see him head off to college but it was also an exciting event. Monet was especially happy about Liam being able to attend a college so much closer to her than he would have been if they'd stayed living on the island.
So, off Liam went and his first day at the dorm house delivered something he totally wasn't expecting - Tabitha Ngai!
When they met it was almost love-at-first sight -
as least it was a close as you can get to it, both were VERY smitten with the other, (a strong 3 bolt attraction). They couldn't help gravitating towards each other and ended up doing just about everything they could together, especially studying, (Liam is a Knowledge Sim as well).
And they found that they could talk about anything with each other!
Woo-hoo seems to be on Liam's mind a lot, lol!
And Tabitha had a few things to say on the subject too!
It wasn't long after this that Tabitha and Liam fell in love at the Ngai family home when they were there for the twins, Michael and Matthew's birthday. So far they are doing great, not getting carried away with their desire to be together every moment and still be on top of their studies.
And they're waiting on the woo-hoo, (for now anyway) -
that was something Tabitha always said she'd NEVER rush into, (even though her and Liam like to talk about it a lot).
Trevor and Melanie like Liam weel enough and they approve of them together. Melanie thinks Liam would make the perfect son-in-law while Trevor's only concern is that Tabitha not lose focus on her college studies, (which is not the case). Of course both Trevor and Melanie's main concern is that Liam treats their daughter well, (he does), and makes her happy.
And as of this moment, that's exactly what is happening -
Liam treats Tabitha very well and they are both quite happy together as they get through college, (getting those perfect grades).
Now, also in the dorm house is Tabitha's best friend, Courtney Simski and Don Lothario's son, Stefano.
These two wasted no time falling in love right there in the dorm house!

and it ended up in both of them having their First Kiss!
And a little more,...
I have a feeling that Courtney and Stefano won't be holding back long on the woo-hoo for very long but both have a strong dedication to their studies.
Stefano is a Family Sim so he's not quite as into the books as Courtney is, (she's Knowledge), but neither one wants to fail academically. Courtney leads the way when it comes to making their studies come first. If it were up to Stefano the two of them would make-out on the couch all day and night! Which for Courtney is rather hard to resist, (which she finds herself giving into more than she should).
But in the long run they get their studies done and so far they're making the Dean's List too!
Only thing ahead of them is getting Stefano over to "Meet The Parents".
Courtney isn't worried much in regard to how her mother, (my Simself), will accept Stefano, but she is VERY worried how her dad, Brad, will accept him!
After everything that happened with her sister, Sheyenne and her love, Harley, bringing Stefano home to meet her father was something she wasn't in any hurry to do. As a matter of fact, Brad doesn't even know Courtney has fallen in love with a young man in her college dorm house, (her mom knows), but sooner or later, they'll have to tell him, (more on that in a future update).
So that's how things stand now -
Tabitha and Courtney are quite a ways off from graduating yet, (still in their freshman year), so a lot is yet to happen.
