As you can see, the Simmons family is all a twitter
as they move into their new place!
Just like it was with the Simski's,
the Simmons were quick to make friends with one another
and once they were all acquainted they got down to the business
of getting jobs - first things first!

I was a little disappointed in the LTW's because they're were kinda boring
but I decided I'd be strict with myself in making them take
whichever career they came up with first
that wasn't already chosen by another Sim in their household.
Important thing is that our Simselves were all happy with their choices - at first.
By the end of the first Sim week Jess was rolling a want to quit
but that's not an option so she'll just have to keep at it.
Getting promotions help her mood so she's okay, lol.
By the end of their first day they were all employed, were friends
with one another and had a few skill points.
Julien whipped up a spaghetti dinner for their first night in the house.
And this is their bird, Skittles.
As you can see, some of the conversation went bad
but no one lost a friend over it.

Don't know why, but I don't have any shots of their bedrooms.
The Simmons house is almost identical to the Simski house.
It's two level and all the bedrooms are upstairs.

I don't have any pix of their yards but will share some in their next update.
No flowers planted yet but they have trees, (fruit trees too),
and if they get enough spare time they have room to put a veggie garden in.
By the next morning they were still anxious to interact with one another.
Then it was time for everyone to go to work
I was the first one to head out -
that's why you don't see my Simself having breakfast with everyone else.
Every house gets a maid and the Simmon's maid is Kaylynn.
Just wanted to share a pix of her to show you how
the maids dress in my hood now.
I was getting really tired of the tacky French Maid uniform.
She showed up with hideous make-up -
which my defaults are to be blamed for that.
Used the Sim Blender to give her a make over while
she worked and I think she looks better,
(but maybe a tad bit too plain).
My Simself was the first to bring someone home from work.
I figured this would happen when Gabe ended up with the same LTW.
Gabe and I hit it off very well
and of course we just had to say good-bye with a mushy kiss.
But no one fell in love -
not something I wanted for any of us on the first day.
Then Julien brought home a Sim - Dagmar.
Julien and Dagmar parted way with a big, fat kiss too,
but no love match for them yet.
He and Sammy are totally into each other
but as of now, neither one of them have made a choice
of who they want to be with.
By the end of their first full day as room-mates
they are all good friends and came home with promotions.
No big surprises to report -
