but it was a Crystal Ball and they're similar I guess.
Needless to say, Sheldon was pretty darn nervous about getting a date through
a Crystal Ball - he has a very scientific mind and Crystal Balls don't fit into the world of science much.
But he gave it a try and this is the girl that appeared before him.
Of course they recognized each other right off
and greeted each other with a warm hug.
And YES, that IS who you think it is -
it's Lily Simski.
I'll give you a moment to digest it all.
(Especially Jess!)
Lily and Sheldon struck up a lively conversation right off.
They were both genuinely excited about being together.
I know most of the time they communicate like this.
And every time they've gotten together at people's parties,
which has been quite often, they end up having chats like this.
But that certainly wasn't the case THIS time!
Well, Lily is a young adult now and she knows what she likes.
Sheldon does too.
They have a 3 bolt attraction going between them.
They were both a little giddy being so attracted to one another.
And like most Sims that get that way -
they had to start tickling each other.
After all the tickling Sheldon finally
got up the nerve to ask Lily on a date.
They decided to go Downtown
to a restaurant called "The Hub", Lily heard it was really good.
Of course Sheldon doesn't drive
and Lily doesn't own a car yet, so they walked.
Not sure how Lily lost her coat along the way
but she showed up Downtown without it and in the snow!
Brrrrrrrr,....
But she didn't mind or seem bothered by it.
The two of them took some time outside the restaurant
to chat and exchange jokes.
Then right of of the blue -
Sheldon got on one knee and serenaded Lily.
And we all know what happens when a Sim serenades another.
Yep, they fall in love
and that's exactly what Lily and Sheldon did.
And then what they'd both been wanting to do since
they met up with each other that night -
they kissed.
For some odd reason Lily couldn't get her "First Kiss".
I tried, but it didn't have it as an option.
I don't think she cared much.
I was the one most bothered by it, lol.
They ended up kissing a LOT!
Finally they came up for air -
both were very hungry after all that kissing
and they went inside to get a table to eat.
The pix of inside the restaurant are really bad
so will apologize ahead of time.
The lighting was so dim you can't see much if anything
and with open, outside dining they were getting SNOWED ON!!!
Every time I looked at poor Lily with no coat on I would shiver!
They got a decent table -
as you can see they were pretty hungry.
Sheldon was one happy camper!
And so was Lily.
He'd found someone to share his life with
and he was feeling a joy he'd never felt before.
He made a toast to the two of them
and their future together!
Their food arrived safely -
the waiter didn't dump the salad bowl all over Sheldon's head.
The food was good and they had fun
flirting with one another all through their meal.
When they were done dining the date was over.
Lily had early classes to get to the next morning
and Sheldon had to go to work.
And yes, it was a Dream Date.
Sheldon LOVES his rose bouquet!
And Lily also came by in the dead of night
to leave another gift for Sheldon -
a DJ Boothe!!
She sure has a lot of money for a college kid, lol!!
At least she had her winter sweater on this time!!
So now you know who Sheldon's girlfriend is.
I think they'll be very happy together.
Of course Lily has college to finish yet.
But Sheldon's waited this long, a little more time won't hurt.
No doubt they'll find time
to spend together in-between her classes and his job.
